Please read these Terms carefully. They explain how FastDrive works and your rights and responsibilities when you use it.
FastDrive is operated by FASTDRIVE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, No. 8 New Heaven Estate, Block Industry, Port Harcourt, Rivers State 500001, Nigeria. These Terms govern your use of the FastDrive mobile app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
FastDrive is a technology platform that connects customers and senders with independent, verified drivers and delivery riders for car trips and package deliveries in Nigeria. Drivers and delivery riders are independent service providers, not employees of FastDrive; FastDrive provides the booking, payment and safety tools.
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate details. You must verify your email address (and phone number where required) before booking. Keep your password and transfer PIN private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Drivers and delivery riders must pass our identity and document checks (NIN, driver's licence and vehicle photos) and be approved before they can go online.
Before you book, the app shows the price for your trip. Each driver sets their own rate per kilometre within limits set by FastDrive, and every ride includes a starting charge for its tier. Tolls on the route, paid parking at the destination, minimum fares for certain locations (such as airports) and a luggage fee where applicable are added and shown in the price. You may offer a different price to a driver; a lower price applies only if the driver accepts it. Waiting beyond the free waiting time at pickup and trips that run well past their estimated time may add a per-minute charge; the app warns you before these start.
You can pay by FastDrive wallet (funded by card or bank transfer through our payment partner, Paystack) or in cash to the driver. When you pay by wallet, the fare is reserved when you book and paid to the driver when the trip ends. FastDrive does not store your full card number or security code; saved cards are handled by Paystack. Cancellation, no-show and waiting charges are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Senders are responsible for the contents of their packages and must not send illegal, dangerous, perishable without notice, or prohibited items (including weapons, drugs, explosives, flammable materials, live animals, cash and stolen goods). Couriers may refuse a package they believe is unsafe or prohibited.
Drivers must hold a valid licence, keep their documents and vehicle details accurate, and follow traffic laws. FastDrive takes no commission on fares: drivers and delivery riders keep the full fare and pay a daily platform fee after the free daily trips; the current amount is shown in the driver app. Earnings are paid to the driver's own verified bank account.
Treat other users with respect. Harassment, discrimination, violence, fraud, or misuse of the SOS feature are not allowed. The SOS button alerts the FastDrive safety team during a trip; in an emergency, always call 112 first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk.
Customers can rate drivers after each trip. Ratings help keep the service safe and may affect which drivers customers are shown. Reports of serious misconduct are reviewed by our team.
To the extent permitted by law, FastDrive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by the acts of drivers, customers or senders, events outside our reasonable control, or your failure to follow these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms; we will notify you in the app or by email of significant changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
